Steam Corner - Word of the death of Frank Glascock of Santa Monica, Calif., a former resident of this area, on June 22, has been received by relatives and friends in Fountain county. Mr. Glascock had been bedfast for nearly four years following a stroke. He was the son of George (Jimmie) and Olive Youngblood Glascock, who lived near Steam Corner, south of Veedersburg. He attended school at Steam Corner and he was a member of the Scotts Prairie Church. Survivors include: his wife, Helen; two brothers, Fred and Charles of Waynetown and three nephews and one great-nephew of Schoolcraft, Mich. Funeral services and burial were at Santa Monica on Friday. - kbz

Word has been received of the death of Frank C. Glascock, 79, of Santa Monica, Calif. He had been bed fast nearly four years after a stroke. Glascock was the son of George and Olive Youngblood Glascock. Survivors include the wife, Helen; two brothers, Fred and Charlie, both of Waynetown, three nephews and a great nephew. Burial will be Friday in Santa Monica (thanks Beth R for this one)
